Trying your best, but feeling like it’s not working?

I’ve been there. I spent many years trying different ways of eating and exercise regimes, and nothing seemed to get me the results I was looking for. I thought, “man I must really just have a slow metabolism!” – it took me a long time to figure out that a lot of it had to do with my perspective, my relationship with food and lifestyle habits I maintained.

Plus, it doesn’t really help that others’ opinions on how and what to eat, social events, sources of stress in our lives, and preconceived notions we might have get in the way sometimes.

Nutrition is my passion. I learn more about it every chance I get! I am not an advocate of any particular diet, but I am a firm believer in a diet tailored to the individual and their goals.
